Hua Yu 于华
新东方学院创办人, 中文, 幼儿舞蹈老师

多年来,于华积累了丰富的幼儿教育经验,从华中师范大学教育系学期教育专业毕业后,她热情服务于中美幼教事业二十多年,在美国从事幼教的教学和管理工作十余年。于老师在凤凰城地区长期担任中文学校的学龄前中文老师,深受师生的好评。

来美之前,于华先后任市级幼儿园语言组长,教学和外宣负责人。她的教学专长包括多角度灵活的语言教育法, 幼儿舞蹈等。

晓航
新东方中文课教师

亚省知名的自由撰稿人。笔名秋香, 她是北美最大的华文报纸和期刊《世界日报》及《世界周刊》的专栏作家。晓航老师也是新东方艺术学校儿童情景剧的主要策划人和老师。她为儿童情景剧创作剧本并组织孩子们排练,取得了很好的效果,深得家长和孩子们的喜爱。

来自中国吉林省,国内专业歌舞团任独舞演员、曾任专业舞蹈团体舞蹈教师和歌舞编导多年。


Vanessa Hu 胡秋子
Dance Instructor, choreographer 舞蹈教师、编舞

Vanessa Hu began her dance training at age of 5 in China, from ballet to Chinese cultural dance, and continued performing for years from home and abroad, including US, France, and Spain. She was accepted in college as a Dance Extraordinary Student serving for the Arts Troupe, where later she was promoted as Vice President. With her leadership and choreography, the dance team won the Top prize of Beijing College Student Arts Festival 2006.

While Vanessa pursuing her Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management in New York, she had trained with Broadway Dance Center and New Amsterdam Dance for two years, including ballet, Hip Hop and contemporary dance. Meanwhile, she worked for two dance companies, Ko-Ryo Dance Theater and Naganuma Dance, New York.

Currently, Vanessa works at Eastern Art Academy as a Dance Instructor / Choreographer, teaching youth from age 5 to 17. Through the years, she developed her own training methodology from original choreographing and interaction with children. Vanessa’s choreography incorporates authentic Chinese dance elements and modern dance technique, customized for stage viewing experience. Creativity and self-confidence building is her mission in education.

Dr. Fawzia Mai Tung


Dr. Fawzia Mai Tung, a retired psychiatrist and journalist, became fascinated by education when she became a mother of eventually seven children. Her career in education spanned jobs as tutor, homeschooling mother, teacher, principal, charter school operator, private school founder, community college adjunct faculty member and educational consultant. Dr. Tung is a strong proponent of character education, globalization, bilingualism, school choice and individualized education.

Kadhima Tung
Kadhima Tung holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, majoring in Painting from ASU and a Global Professional, Language Flagship Certificate in Chinese. She has exhibited at ASU and won an award at the AZ State Fair Artists competition. For the past four years she has taught art to children in K-12, many of whom have won awards as well.
